Cool. Been wondering for a while now. For once, I actually appreciate the announcement of a future announcement.

I'm not sure what DLC has to do with ME3 as it's not mentioned anywhere in the article.

Now, I am about to be legitimately pissed because I may be misunderstanding something...

Are they saying ME2's choices won't carry over to ME3? That all that stuff you decided from ME1 down is lost in the shuffle of some Warp in the West?

I went out and got it and I think it's an awesome game. And it's pretty easy to spot those detractors who haven't played it now.

I dunno about the "first truly next generation action game"... Maybe a bit much, but I can certainly see why the game got it's scores.

@blu: I'm talking about the interview to which this article links. I don't think it's the same one.

I liked the game. Only two major things wrong with it imo:

Junction = overpowered
Irvine = Silly, nonsensical, plot-breaking character

Still, I'd play.

The article says it like it's unusual to start a new project as the previous completes. What's that about? But even though they've started "envisioning" the next chapter, he made it clear DLC and expanded content is the focus right now.

"The cool thing is also there's going to be a lot of bonus content basically for the fans, that they don't have to pay for. It's just going to keep them engaged. It's hopefully a good service to the players who buy the game, and wil...

So eight hours and three disagrees later, none of the complainers can offer anything better than superficial opinions. 95 comments and 460 degrees at the time of posting. And not a single real criticism. So either no one listened or no one could come up with anything. *shrug*

Gj N4"Gamers". Living right up to expectations.

Anyway, I guess I'll grab the game. Have fun downplaying, I guess.

It's no wonder you only have two bubbles, man. You somehow can't resist trashing something with every post.

But anyway, I was gonna say about the same sans needless bashing.

The story imo is second to none in the *entirety of gaming*. It's a shame so few gamers these days know anything about it and will probably never try it.

Pretty refreshing to read a candid analysis about stuff like dating sims without breaking into "rofl perv get a gf" comments. And in all honesty, besides the depth, it's not at all that different from "romancing" a party member in your typical WRPG. And surprisingly, not many gamers are embarrassed by that. BioWare gets praised for it in fact.

Now I wonder if moving dating sims like Love Plus stateside would only be a matter of rebranding them.

GFWL has always been to me the client they half-heartedly continue to develop since PC gamers refused to be charged for online MP.

People judge Rare way too harshly.

They made their mark with many of these so called "kiddy" titles (family fun Nintendo, remember?) and yet people want to remember them only for the few exceptions like Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, and KI. Maybe they just hitched their wagon to the wrong star. 360 (and for that matter PS3) aren't exactly bought for their rated-E titles. Again, Nintendo seems like the best fit. But maybe Natal opens up a few doors in the near future.

I don't like it either, but kept saying... It's not only because of MS or 360 or DVD. No one's holding anything back cos "it can't fit". Like it or not, this is the new modus operandi of the industry. And no one is above making money.

But a lot of gamers are cynics. You think all the devs are in the studio stroking their beards saying "What can we cut out of the full game and sell back to the foolish masses?" *cackle*

It's not like that. I'm no ...

W/e man. It sounds completely neutered for the kids as usual.

Right now, I have a hard time buying BioWare's "pushing boundaries" bravado after Dragon Age imo failed so spectacularly to do so.

For people who don't get it... yes, I like series. But I don't like handling the thing with kid's gloves.

@nycre: A DMC clone is not an insult. DMC is an awesome franchise and should be near the top of the pile along with Ninja Gaiden. Excellent games like those two paved the way for games like GoW. So again, why shouldn't I play this game?

I'm on the fence about the game. But I read nothing but facetious reasons why the game is "overhyped". And I tend to pass those off as vengeful complaints from the crowd that got the worse off version. BS reasons for the sake of downplay...

It is really quick, yes. If they can pull off the an equal or better experience though, more power to them.

Considering how less than great AoC turned out on the lead platform, I'm not sure why they'd consider risking a console port.

I thought they already made it abundantly clear that Replicant wasn't leaving Japan. *shrug*

Anyway I've only seen the one trailer and it's utterly unimpressive.

"Mature" is quickly becoming one of those meaningless buzzwords. I hope Bungie isn't just throwing it out as a blanket for gore and swearing.

But I think it has some potential because like ODST it doesn't have to be the stereotypical "save the world/galaxy" plot which automatically makes it 100 times more engaging to people over the age of fifteen.

@Creep & Penny:

I admire your solidarity, clowns.

The difference is explained well enough further down by TerminalGamer.

It is a bit amusing that there are almost no disagreements in the comments but tons of disagrees. It's like a lot of someones didn't think up a point of contention, which is actually kind of sad.
